Teaches your child that others have a point of view which may be different than their own, and why this is important.
BASIC SOCIAL SKILLS AND THEIR IMPORTANCE
Your child will learn non-verbal behaviors and body language that will help them develop better communication skills, leading to healthy social interaction.
PROBLEM ASSESSMENT & SOLVING
This practice helps children cultivate a problem solving mindset which allows them to avoid emotional meltdowns over small issues. Your child will learn how to access a problem, come up with solutions to solve it, and then select the one they think is best.
Your child will learn how to identify their emotions based upon a color system. This will allow them to identify where they are at emotionally and then progress to a calm state.
EVERYDAY SOCIAL SKILLS
Your child will learn everyday social skills which we as adults take for granted. This basic set of skills will give your child a foundation upon which they can build friendships with peers, teachers, and family.
Parents will learn how to teach their child the importance of friendship - including how to create friendships and keep them.
SOCIAL SUCCESS STRATEGIES
Parents will be given a set of proven strategies that will allow them to nurture their child's social skills and behavioral development.
